| The Arona Council has headed the initiative
started in 2004 to turn Playa de Las Vistas
into one of the most accessible beaches in
Spain. Sunshades and sunbeds are set on wooden
decking which extend all the way to the sea.
Roll-up walkways that reach from the promenade
up to the platforms and roomy showers and
toilets are another positive result of this
project. |
| Handicapped guests who wish to use these
facilities may obtain the European Key totally
free of charge at hotel reception upon leaving
a deposit. This initiative also includes a
lifeguard team to help the disabled into the
sea. Amphibian wheel chairs are used for this
purpose and the service is totally free of
charge, but must be pre-booked. |
| To make life really easy, just make use
of our free transport five times a week, from
our hotel to the Los Cristianos beach promenade
and back to the Mar y Sol Hotel. |
